Harper's Bazaar Russia's Natalia Alverdian wowed street style addicts like myself with this amazing military inspired and lace combo in February during the Milan F/W 2010 collections. A combination that subsequently graced the racks of fashion-favorite boutiques like Miu Miu this fall.
The super-chic stylist nailed the look again during the Milan SS2011 collections; this time in a version adapted for the warmer Fall climate. Winter or Fall, she never falls out of line.

I think she looks great but I think it's more in spite of the military parka than because of it.
One of my favorites looks ever. And I LOVE the parka. That is the element that sets of the lace. On another note, I have those Alaia boots in gray and black horsehair. Love them but walking in them is a bitch. I always feel like I am pitched forward in the most unnatural of ways. And forgetaboutit if the sidewalk is a bit slanted. I have to inch my way along so as not to tip over. So, I also have to applaud her making those boots look so easy and comfortable.
She looks amazing ! And I wish I had a lovely parka just like hers... :)
